Ryan is a seasoned professional with a background in electrical engineering and business administration. Holding a BS from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic business acumen to his roles. 

As the Senior Power Distribution Manager at BASF Corporation, Ryan managed assets totaling $200 million, demonstrating his ability to handle significant responsibilities within corporate environments. 

Currently serving as Principal Partner at Sable Capital, he has diversified into commercial real estate investment, overseeing a portfolio valued over $7 million. Notably, his portfolio includes high-profile tenants such as Fortune 500 companies like Ecolab and Clean Harbors Inc., showcasing his adeptness in building and managing successful business relationships.

Russ Cannon

Principal Partner

Russell is an accomplished professional with diverse experiences and a strong background in management. As the Managing Partner at Sable Capital, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table. With a collegiate baseball background and degrees in both History and Kinesiology, Russell demonstrates a commitment to excellence and a well-rounded skill set.

His professional journey includes serving as a construction safety manager, where he successfully managed large industrial capital projects exceeding $100 million. Notably, he has overseen the supervision of over 800 employees for significant maintenance contracts, showcasing his exceptional leadership capabilities. 

Currently, Russell owns and manages a commercial real estate investment portfolio valued at over $5 million, highlighting his proficiency in strategic investment and asset management.

Michael Speir

Acquisitions Manager

Michael is a dynamic and accomplished leader who combines extensive expertise in operations and people management with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering. A graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by minors in Mathematics and Theology, Michael offers a rare fusion of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and business insight. This distinctive skill set empowers him to foster exceptional workplace culture and inspire teams to achieve extraordinary results.

Michael’s leadership pedigree is underscored by his service on several high-impact governing bodies, including a School Board managing an annual budget of $140 million and a Church Council overseeing $2.5 million annually. Currently, he leads a team responsible for a $250 million facility at a Fortune 500 company, where he consistently delivers excellence amid complex, evolving economic landscapes.


As part of Sable Capital, Michael applies his deep expertise in the single-family real estate sector. His comprehensive experience spans wholesaling, fix-and-flip projects, buy-and-hold strategies, new construction, and small-scale development. Leveraging a data-driven, analytical approach, Michael excels at identifying and securing high-value properties, making him an invaluable asset in driving the company's success.
